Abstract
This paper aimed to review the works related to the maturity of e-government in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has had a rich history of the progressive implementation of modern tools for egovernment since 2005. As a result, its rank in the UN global e-government development index has improved from 105 in 2003 to 43 in 2020, placing it among the developed nations. The only factor which pulls down its ranking is the online services index (OSI) determined by the number of services and customers using them.
